Easy to use and Reliable

I wasted my money! I must buy in-purchase Premium to be able to sync among my Mac and iPad / iPhone devices using Dropbox. Im going to buy 1Password just now!

The app is awesome but needs to be updated to use the Touch ID !!!

When I include a new item every time I click on Edit Buttom the app close.

Under IOS 7.0 everything is black. Please rectify it.

Just works. Syncing different devices could be improved, though.

I use it for my iPhone, iPad and Windows-PC! Works just great, because of the flexible Sync options (wifi, icloud etc) e.g. a change on one product result in automatisch Sync to the other products I use. In addition it allows to modify all fields, which mens that I can even enter German Labels. I would not like to miss it anymore!

Works really well, easy to use - the one time I needed to use the support in 4 years was to ask about getting a refund for upgrading from OSX10.6 to 10.9 supported software, response was fast, friendly and money was refunded (even though this was not legally necessary, no quibbling!!!!!)

I needed some time to get acquainted with the Sync feature

I needed an app that would sync between my workstation, iPhone and iPad. This works very well and I use it every day. Would be nice if iPad/iPhone app defaulted to find space on Open.

Data Vault is very customizable, and the wireless sync is usually very quick and allows me to keep all my devices and machines updated and current. I really like being able to create templates that store data the way I want it stored and the ability to mask the passwords and copy them quickly to a clipboard. The app is easy to use my passwords are easily and quickly accessible. I also like having my data stored on my own devices, not an anonymous cloud computer over which I have no control and have to pay annual fees to maintain. Customer support is also very responsive and helpful.

Ive used a bunch of password protectors over the years on a variety of platforms. Typically, my issue with them is that they were standalone apps - and if you lost your device, you lost your data as well. DataVault offers a number of ways around this issue. There is a desktop version that can be synched via iTunes, and now they support iCloud and WebDav synching as well - so I am a happy camper. A recent release of DataVault broke the app for my iOS 6.3 iPhone however. In the main summary (both list and tree view), the accounts were displayed with black text on a black background - which made using the app pretty near impossible. Happy to report that the newest version has fixed this problem for us iOS 6 holdouts.

This is the best password App bar none! I did not move to IOS 7 so when the update for Data Vault came through I installed it without reading it carefully. It didnt work and I panicked. I emailed the Customer Service at Data Vault and they replied to me immediately! They gave me the directions on how to downgrade and also advised me that a fix for IOS 6 was coming! 2 days later the fix was there! Great turn around time and remember, Apple has to approve all these changes so I think the fix would of been in faster except for that approval time. Love this App! Does everything it says it will. This small glitch was nothing and I cant recommend this App enough.

Don’t get me wrong, I love this app and I’ve been using it for years on PC, Mac, Blackberry, iPhone and Ipad. But I did purchase the premium add-on mainly for the icons that it adds, and if you choose one of the new icons on the iPhone, they don’t transfer on the desktop app when you synchronize :(
