Just got the IPhone 7. Data was easily recoverable once I downloaded the app.

Ascendo datavault - professional class password/data manger with outstaning first class support. Easy navigation and integration with PC, iCloud, browsers, etc. These folks are first rate ! Keep up the good work.

I have used DataVault for at least 5 years and loved it. Based on my experiences, most of my family also uses it. But, I am switching to 1Password. The problem: I upgraded my OS to El Capitan about 10 days ago, and during that process apparently my DataVault file was corrupted on my iMac - that is what Ascendo emailed me. The desktop version would not accept my master password. iPhone and iPad were fine. I emailed Ascendo for advice on how to resolve the issue, and their only suggestion was to backup the database and keep entering the password until the desktop version was erased. I followed their instructions, and then tried to import the backed-up database. What they failed to mention is that the backed up version requires the master password - which DV was rejecting to begin with. I have yet to hear from Ascendo on whether there is a fix for this. Since I use Time Machine and Time Capsule, I was able to restorel an earlier version of the desktop app. Until something went wrong, I loved this app. When something goes wrong, however, be prepared to figure it out yourself because Ascendo has limited/no support.

This is well designed and easy to use. Great app.

Ive been using this product for years and consider it to be both a great and must-have application. The only areas I think there could be some improvement is in cloud syncing and the icons (expand the number available and, more importantly, provide some organization into groups).

Ive been using Data Vault for a couple of years now and have found it to be an excellent app for storing critical information like passwords and more. It is elegant solution that allows you to keep your business and personal passwords separate. But its not just for passwords. Put anything you need secured for future reference in "The Vault." Just one password to remember. Additionally I have device upgrades where suddenly I thought I had lost access to my data. Not to worry. The app keeps track of file updates that occur regularly even if you dont change anything. Just go back to a recent update and click restore. Everything is back on your new device. I highly recommend this app.

A secure place for all your secret stuff

I really like using this app to keep my passwords safe and handy. Easy to use and it holds a lot of information in a very organized fashion. I have a terrible memory and tons of passwords, usernames, hints, etc. that I need to have available for my apps and for my dads apps since I am his caregiver. It got too overwhelming on all the little scraps of paper and notebooks I was using. I did quite a bit of research and found this excellent app. And great customer service. I emailed them with a question and they responded right away. We conversed via email for a day or so until I was comfortable that I understood how to do what I wanted to do. I was able to print a backup of all my info to store separately from my iPhone. Pretty cool. I was also able to transfer all of my data to my new IPhone 7 very quickly.

Excellent app. Syncing mobile to mobile is cloud based. Desktop to mobile sync requires buying this app and separate software for your computer. Not everyone is comfortable with cloud syncing their most critical data and will appreciate the option for Wi-Fi syncing over a home network. Setup and organization will be familiar to anyone who uses the Windows folder/files system. Very flexible; easy to change/adapt templates or create your own.

I use this app every day. I dont know what else one could do to make the app better. It fits all my needs.

If I forget a password I look into my data vault an there it is my password to the site Im trying not to get into!!! Great!!!

Ive been using this App on my iPhone 4 for over 3 years. This App is excellent & I use it all the time. It works great, is easy to use & I use it often. I also started using it on my iPad Air several months ago. It flawlessly synchs between both devices via Cloud, but there are also other ways to synch it between devices. I highly recommend this App! 10/9/16 Update: All of my above original review still holds true. Since then, I continued to use it when I switched to iPhone 6+ & now to iPhone 7+. All of my data in the DataVault App seamlessly transferred over to both iPhones via iCloud. I rely heavily on this App & still highly recommend it.

The value in dated backups is that when you upgrade your device, you dont have to renter your data all over again. Backed up device automatically and when I tried to restore my data, nothing restored even though the message stated the operation was successful. Of no value to me if the data must be re entered.

I have been using the PC version for two years. The feature set is great. Then they came out with the iCloud update for the mobile app. That made this a must have app. I now synch my PC, iPhone and iPad. Never forget a password again. Change a password or add a new account on any device and perform a synch with each device to pick up the changes. Datavault is the password solution for everyone.

Great app! Would be greater with touch id. But still, great app.

I keep over 200 passwords in DataVault. The sync feature works great. I am able to access my information and passwords from my iPhone, iPad, or Mac easily. If you are still keeping passwords on a cheat sheet or still using the same password for all of your accounts, you really should give this app a try. You wont go back to pen and paper!

Perfect for safely tracking the large number of passwords in todays environment.

I have been using this for 5+ years. Now I have a sync problem. THERE IS NO SUPPORT!! No phone number to call; they dont respond to emails. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!
